■ Expenses💰

• Tuition for the Undergraduate Program: approximately 1,600,000 won ~ 4,800,000 won

  -Exchange students will not pay the tuition fee to KGU in accordance with the agreement between partner universities

  -Visiting students will pay 100% or 50% of the tuition fee to KGU (approximately 1,600,000 won ~ 4,800,000 won)

  -Dual Degree students will be required to pay 100% of tuition fees to both his or her home university and KGU

• Dormitory: 1,600,000 won + deposit 100,000 won per semester

  • Based on twin bed room
  • The deposit of 100,000 will be refunded after they check the room conditions when you check out from the dormitory.

• Tuition for the Intensive Korean Language Program: 700,000 won per session

  -The Intensive Korean Language Program is a specialized language program that is not an undergraduate course at all, so applicants will pay tuition fees.

  -Exchange/visiting/double degree students will get a 50% special discount (all other foreigners should pay KRW 1,500,000 including admission fee for one session)

• Blanket Package : 40,000 ~ 50,000 won

  • The KGU dorm does not offer the blanket, pillow and bed sheet. So, the Int’l office buys them and offer to students. You can apply for the package by submitting the survey conducted in July or January.

• Alien Registration Card Issuance : 41,000 won

  • A.R.C(Alien Registration Card) is your ID card in Korea. Every foreign student in Korea has to issue this card by the request of the Ministry of Justice in Korea.
  • Issuance fee 30,000 won + administrative agency fee11,000 won

• Korean National Health Insurance Fee: 65,895 won per month

  • Every foreign student in Korea will be signed up for this insurance by the regulations of the Ministry of Justice in Korea. Students will be insured from when they receive the A.R.C.

• KGU T-shirt, hoodie or jaket: 20,000 ~ 70,000 won

  • The cost is different depending on the semester(K buddies will make ones). If you want to buy one you can answer the survey conducted in July or January.

• Living Expenses: It usually costs 500,000~600,000 won per month

• Food cost

  • Cafeterias on Campus: KRW 4,000~5,000
  • Restaurants off Campus: more than KRW 10,000 ↑

• Other expenses: Visa deliverance/flight/insurance/dormitory expenses, etc. will all be borne by the student

※Students will need to pay every fee only in cash after arrival at KGU. You cannot remit money from overseas or cannot make a payment by a credit or debit card at KGU.

※There is a possibility to transfer the dorm fee around end of August according to the dorm.
